The following weekend, I again headed back down to S. CA to work the USA Nationals Spirit Store. Olivia joined me again this year and provided lots of laughs and good times. It was nice to spend time with her as well as have her annoy me!
This is what the behind the scenes looked like. Tons of boxes with merchandise to go through and bring out to the floor. Liv and I had a good laugh making fun and griping about the staff that were lazy and just sitting there. We deviously came up with plans not to help them when there were long lines at the cash register. Of course, being the good peeps we are, we didn't really stick to the plan.
Our buddy Andy walks around the store during the down time cleaning up the mess a gang of cheerleaders can make in seconds going through the merchandise.

During our breaks, we watched some of the competition.
Jenn's Varsity cheer team Los Al won 2nd place.
The best part about working the event down in S. Ca, is that I get to spend time with Jenn and my other buddies that I miss seeing. Jenn and John pose and John shows off his injury that occured when he fell off a 5 foot dock taping a team he was teaching. (John choreographs for a ton of professional NFL and NBA cheer teams). On top of all that talent, he has a beautiful voice (he sang at my wedding).

Carl is another talented dancer and choreographer and he was in town judging the competition, so we all got to hang out and go to dinner and peruse Disneyland.

Being gone so much was hard for Kent and I missed the girls. This time I brought them with me and left them at Grandma's for the weekend. They so much fun spending time with her and the cousins. The day we were leaving, my mom met us at Downtown Disney for Lunch and pin trading and shopping.
Last weekend, we checked out model homes and Kyra struck a pose in the music room.
Our neighbor, Edward turned 40 last weekend and we helped him celebrate his birthday.
