Ringing in the New Year.....

Yup, I decided to skip the month of December because it was too long and too far behind to attempt the catch up. But, in the attempt to fast track to keep current, here is how we rang in the New Year.

We finished up our Xmas vacation in the mountains of So. Ca. Big Bear is our annual trip where we go and stay in Kent's family cabin.

Kent is always hopeful for a repeat of a big snow storm that surrounded us a few years ago. Unfortunately, it only dumped a temporary load in the middle of the first night we were there and luckily, Kent and Lola decided to go out and play in it because it pretty much melted away by the end of the next day.

We rang in 2008 on a tv from 1978. At least it has a remote control.

The girls keep toasty by the fire while eating smores.

Brrrrr, it is cold!

On way home we stopped at the bottom of the grapvine and it was incredibly windy! It was so hard to walk and breath in the wind. We almost lost our Charmed DVD box when it fell out of the car.

Just before the bag of fries flew out of Alysia's hand.
