The week after Alysia said goodbye to 8th grade, we boarded a plane with most of her 8th grade class and headed to Washington D.C. It was an amazing trip, filled with lots of history and culture. I think I was more thrilled than Alysia! The first day was hot and humid and I thought I was going to melt away! Luckily, the weather lightened up and the rest of the week was beautiful!
